Here’s a feel-good story.
A long-time client of mine brought in a coat from the late fifties/early sixties, which had belonged to her late, much adored mother. It had clearly been very elegant once, but was looking a bit worse for wear and had many moth holes in it. She wanted to save something of it for nostalgia’s sake. So she asked me to make four scarves; one for her and for each of her three sisters, as a memento of their mother. How lovely is that?
