When you can’t find N95 in black anywhere what do you do???? well you ask if it possible to replicate the style and layers to the best of your abilities ... ummm.... 😳😂 OK!!! 🦸‍♀️

Disclaimer: this is a fabric replica mask that only has 4 layers opposed to the 5 layers in a N95. I definitely can’t claim them to be as amazing as a N95 at filtering AND with Aloi theres never a one size fits all so the size is bigger... but he’s a happy camper.

Hes now ready for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup matches here at Seddon Park with the first happening on Saturday AUS vs. ENG 🏏

P.S if you see this guy (Aloi) b-lining for you on game day you’re either upto no good or he knows you. Be the later!!! No one likes to finish watching a game through a crack in the fence 😉🤪😂

These reusable wired nosed face masks have 3 layers (as shown in pic 2) with the 3rd layer allowing for a PM 2.5 filter (or similar) to be inserted inside.
This style also allows for you to adjust the length of your ear straps to your desired length or if you’re wanting to slip a shoelace into it to tie around your head you can do that too (see comments for this option)

We’ve been following the multiple pieces of advice experts have been giving in regards to face masks and Omicron offshore, from N95 masks are the best through to fabric masks do absolutely nothing for the wearer 🤦🏽‍♀️

Here is what we have been working on this holidays, a re-usable and sustainable protocol-types that holds a PM2.5 filters or homemade filter with the offshore experts advice in mind as our ones are still working it out.

Apparently our masks need to be tight fitting, preferably with a nose cover and wire as well as a filter pocket to hold a filter to help stop droplets from entering the nose and mouth. All while being loose/off the mouths of when you breathe in it doesn’t go in your mouth.

We haven’t worked out the production cost as we are trying to keep it affordable. But if you are interested in purchasing one let us know 😁 We’re hoping to launch these on Waitangi Weekend 🌻

When you use the words “not for profit” it’s hard for people to imagine what that looks like in this day in age, especially people my age.

It’s been a wicked 20 month ride leading into adulthood and it’s moments of gifting without recognition that makes it all the more amazing 🙏
