This week is Birth Trauma Awareness Week.

1 in 3 mums in Aotearoa report their birth as traumatic, which is 50 mums per day.

I’m really passionate about helping to educate couples around their rights and advocating for themselves in the birth room, to hopefully lower this statistic. It’s important that everyone walks away from their birth feeling respected and whole.
