Kia Ora koutou,

I was supposed to be back at my sewing machine on the 15th February but due to unexpected circumstances with work I haven't been able to. I apologise for this delay.

For those I have contacted; your order will be sent out as discussed but I will not be taking any more orders for a couple more weeks.

This year has started off with many challenges for our little Whānau but we have some excited adventures awaiting.

Thank you for your continuing patience and support. Much appreciated.

Kia Ora Mataiti Mauri Whānau,

I hope you all had a fantastic summer break and are settling into the New Year. I know my Whānau have enjoyed some much needed time together!

I will be returning to my sewing machine February 15th. So all you lovelies who have messaged me with orders, questions etc, I will reply to you then.

Also, this year is going to be a big, full on year for my Whānau. This will mean that orders will not always be shipped the following day but I will do my best to post orders within a few days unless otherwise discussed upon ordering.

Who can believe there's only 19 days until Christmas?! I certainly can not.

With the holiday season just around the corner, this will be the last week Il be sewing for the year 2021. So don't miss out, start shopping and place your orders while you still can!

Pre Christmas orders close this Thursday 10th December at 5pm.

Please Note: Pre Christmas orders will be sent out Friday 11th December to allow time to arrive before the big day. Due to the courier company, I can not guarantee that orders will arrive on time.

Just an update on our beautiful watercolour opal koru fabric.

I placed an order on Friday last week but unfortunately my supplier didn't have any in stock and is currently waiting for more to arrive. So hopefully I will be receiving more in the next couple of weeks. However, I have order the last remaining stock available until next year :(

I think Il have enough to make 5 blankets. If you are wanting to purchase one, pm me and Il add you to the list to be notified when fabric arrives. Once I have fabric, it will be a first in and paid basis.

These all year round cot comforters are not only perfect to keep your pēpi warm and comfy while asleep; they are great to use as a play mat indoors and out.

Each comforter is made up of 3 layers. 2 layers of 100% cotton fabric and 1 layer of soft 100% cotton wadding for warmth.

Kia Ora Whānau and Welcome,

I thought it would be a good idea to finally show you and introduce the faces behind the brand Mataiti Mauri.

I am Elly Mataiti, the Founder of Mataiti Mauri and this is my beautiful Whānau. I am a full time māmā of two gorgeous girls, Matilda 5 and Cleo 3. I also work full time as a Registered Nurse. I am the one sewing all of our creations and the one you communicate with. My husband of almost 12 years; Alvin is a Funeral Director and works behind the scenes in our business supporting me and caring for our girls so I can spend time sewing all your orders.

The name "Mataiti Mauri, essence of life" was given to us via my cousin. It represents Aroha, Whānau, Courage, Hard Work and Achievement. This describes my Whānau and how our small business became.

I really enjoy showing you all of our creations and we really appreciate the support you have shown us thus far.
