Born Clean Die Dirty

Born Clean Die Dirty Fashion - Costume - Custom Design by Kate Vascotto I have been making and designing clothes for myself for over 12 years.

I've always had a passion for creativity and have studied art and music. I was lead vocals and played keyboard in a band for 4 years this allowed me to create a brand image for both stage and merchandise and led me to further explore designing and inspired me to start creating a large body of work. I love patterns and colour and love nothing more than finding a new fabric shop! My first profession

al project was in 2011 when I designed and made 25 Victorian theme night dresses for Proud Camden in London. Since then I have been busy working on my first collection, making costumes for friends and attending Central Saint Martins doing courses in Pattern Making and Building a Fashion Collection. I have just moved to Wellington, New Zealand and am currently working on a new collection and an entry for the World of Wearable Art competition for 2013. I'm intending to make small capsule collections for sale and take on custom designs and costume projects. I want to thank and give credit to:

Also huge thanks to Suzi Peplar, Jenny Morris, Francesca Marrisol, Colin Welsh, Matt Evans and to all my friends who I neglected while I was creating my portfolio but who have continued to support my endeavours. LOVE YOU X
