Bergman Gallery congratulates Gow Langsford Gallery represented artist John P**e for his first New York solo exhibition.

(New York, NY) – On September 12, Venus Over Manhattan will open the first US-based solo exhibition of artist and poet John P**e. From the small island nation of Niue in the South Pacific Ocean, P**e has risen to become one of the region’s most celebrated and important artists and is increasingly gaining notoriety across the world. His intricate paintings and drawings offer distinct meditations on the history, natural environs, and iconography of his home island and Polynesia more broadly. With John P**e, Venus Over Manhattan presents a unique opportunity for American audiences to experience the depth of P**e’s dynamic work, enhancing global awareness of his singular vision and practice. The exhibition will remain on view through October 26, at the gallery’s location at 39 Great Jones Street.

Blessed to have the beautiful Fay walk through the shop door last weekend, all the way from Auckland. As stylish as her sister Joy, she brought with her one of her latest creations and I was lucky enough to have this left as a gift. I do love a good bag!! Orders happily taken and measuring at 30cm x 19cm high, its sturdy, colourful and a wave to our creative sisters weaving their magic !!

Had a lovely day at the shop today sharing this delicious chocolate at 247 Jackson Street. It definitely felt like Spring was just around the corner with lots of people buying gifts for babies / pepe today. Hope you have time to relax and indulge yourself this weekend :)
