Last of the ballet bears disappearing out the door of 'Kakariki' here in Mangawhai..... but owing to their popularity and wonderful feedback have decided to continue making the stunning red Christmas tutus which will hit the market for Christmas 2021!!! One customer said her granddaughter had worn her tutu for Xmas and then again for her 5th birthday which had the theme 'Watermelon' Party! Lots of fun for the children involved.

Final year of the Ballet Bears at 'Kakariki' here in Mangawhai. Huge 'thanks' to Alison for stocking these bears in her beautiful store. A bouquet of wild flowers and cherry pralines was presented by Sadie to Alison. Sadie has had her winter jumper removed and now accessorized with a stunning necklace & matching bracelet. Love her shabby chic apricot roses. Three bears were scooped up for Chrissie gifts this week.... bringing joy to some budding tiny ballerinas. "Merry Christmas" & sincere thanks to friends & fans for the support received. ❤

Made with special love because they are the very last two ballet bears. Have recycled the names and the teddy in the Spanish Pink is yet another 'Bella' and the teddy in Lavender is 'Luella' after a former ballet student who was a very gifted little painter of ballet pictures! Feeling sad but also accepting of life's continual cycle of change. Loved giving pleasure to so many grannies & their precious grandchildren. Happy 'Spring' ... new beginnings and new hope for a better year ahead.

Wow, a busy sales month for the Ballet Bears … Zoe & Tallulah in purple tutus gone.... Petal, Chloe and Bella departed for Christchurch end of July … a lovely surprise from a caring Grandmother for three little girls.

'Lily' the paisley ballet bear in her brand new Spanish pink tutu, pale green flowers and zany necklace. Found this bear a real struggle to finish as my eyes found it hard to focus. Only two bears left and then it will be the end of another 'era'. Sugarplum Visions will be moving on to another craft which is the making of Rag Rugs. Looking forward to this new challenge.

Suddenly out of hibernation and within the last two weeks two ballet bears 'Zoe' & 'Tallulah' in purple tutus have gone to new homes. 'Luella' is the newest kid on the block & arrived at Kakariki in the Bennett's Chocolate Complex today … just in time for the last week of the school holidays. Wayne snapped a quick shot of Luella resplendent in her purple tutu & shabby chic roses around her waist. Cutest pink bow for back interest. Happy holidays! 🙂

A warm fuzzy buzz for the 1st of July. Little Zoe, ballet bear has gone to a new home today. Chosen especially for her necklace of roses …. it has gone to Granny's house and little granddaughter can give Zoe a cuddle when she visits Gran!!!! 🤩
