We take reference from the past with an eye firmly on the future — our aesthetic is built on design classics and timeless silhouettes, constructed from future friendly materials. Each frame is expertly handcrafted from biodegradable c

ellulose acetate which is sustainable and derived from cotton and wood pulp. This material will completely breakdown when buried in soil or landfill over time, making it better for you and the environment. We choose high grade CR-39 lenses, a superior polymer based material with glass like properties - light refraction is measured at a similar rate to glass, offering the wearer ultimate optical clarity. CR-39 lenses are highly abrasion resistant and come in a wide range of colour and gradient hues. All frames are built with stainless steel componentry and feature sturdy 5 barrel hinges with wire temple cores for durability. Designed right here in Aotearoa.

In show of solidarity today we paddled out to remember the victims of the Mauao tragedy.

It has been difficult to articulate how we have felt following everything, but the support of our local surf community spoke for all of us and reflected the collective heart of our region.
