Thanks to all you lovely followers and apologies for not updating regularly on here. I mainly use Instagram but even then, I feel twitchy and uncomfortable about promoting my little business. I don't want to participate in the online onslaught of aggressive advertising. But I know it helps to know what's coming into The Department of Curiosities and Fine Things and Coco and Co. and I do want to spread the word about how amazing these collectives are and how grateful I am that I actually don't have to rely on online platforms to sell what I find 🙏🏼💖💐
Of course there's waaayyyy more choice of things to buy online. But how often have we received something that doesn't live up to the description, or doesn't fit or just doesn't suit? Seeing and feeling the actual fabric of a garment, and trying it on your own individually-sized body (rather than relying on a modelled photo) is the best way to buy clothes.
I am so lucky to do what I love, and I'm so grateful for all the support and wonderful comments from customers 🙏🏼💖💐
