MEET THE TEAM at Textiles and Materials Testing! Introducing the one and only Maryse Mettam one of our Testing Officers here at NZWTA. 🙌

Maryse has been with us for 8 years now, previously working as a postie in Bay View. She is a Hawke’s Bay local through and through growing up in our very own Napier. She loves the variety of projects NZWTA has to offer her, with her main focus being wool grease & lab work. 👍🏻

Maryse praises Christian and his leadership within the NZWTA Textiles and Materials Testing team. She also loves the smell of fresh coffee that wafts through the office in the morning, you just can’t beat it! ☕️

MEET THE TEAM at Textiles and Materials Testing! Next up Christian Judan our Senior Textile Technologist! 🙌

Christian has been with the NZWTA team for 11 years now. Prior to this, he was the assistant manager for 13 years with Bureau Veritas Consumer Product Services (BVCPS). Here he managed the operation of the Softlines Division (Softlines is the same as textiles testing) of the lab and was also part of the team of the Social Compliance/Factor Audit/Inspection of the laboratory. 👏🏻

Christians's role here at Testiles and Testing looks after the overall operation of the textiles lab. From client queries to the booking of samples, typing & issuing reports to lab testing. 👍🏻 He enjoys interacting with both existing and new clients.
