Hi everyone I just thought I’d give you a quick run down on why I have decided to create Get Dress’d👗

It all started when we had a friends wedding to attend and alas I had nothing to wear. I tried looking for some local dress rental options because I wanted to be able to try a dress on before I rented it (I’ve had 1 to many mishaps with renting a dress online and when it arrives it just doesn’t fit the way I was expecting it would). I found a few local options but the dresses on offer weren’t quite the look I was going for 😰 time was running out and I needed a dress so I sent my partner into town to find me one. The idea of going from shop to shop trying on different dresses with Mila didn’t sound like much fun to me so off Jack went to pick me out a dress.

But it got me thinking 💭 wouldn’t it be great if there was a dress rental place in Hawkes Bay where you could try them on before you rent them and somewhere that had nice dresses that were for size 14+ 🤔

So the idea for Get Dress’d was born! I want to be able to create a warm and welcoming space for women to be able to try on dresses if they wish or just to rent a nice dress 🥹 Somewhere that you can bring your kids to a try on if needed (mum tings don’t worry I’ll have some toys ready to go 😅) or it can be a nice bit of alone time to really relax and find something that you love and feel confident in 🌟
I hope the ladies of Hawkes Bay are just as excited about this as I am 🥹
