When asked me to make her a hat, she said, “the more colour the better.” And I think we achieved that goal ✅

Made from the most gorgeous vintage terry towelling, this bucky is full colour, full pattern, and made to stand out. Now all Cory needs is the some Canadian sunshine.

The inspiration vs the result 🌋

Inspired by this INCREDIBLE lava fountain that saw in Hawaii, we got to work making her a lava hat to commemorate the moment.

Naturally, I reached for to find juuuust the right shade of orange, and dyed a classic Cannon Santa Cruz towel to make this molten hot bucky 🔥

Thank you Sarah for trusting me to turn that fiery fountain into something you can hold. I lava-ed making her for you 😅

When Molly from first sent me a snap of this towel, my lil brain instantly started puzzling this hexi pattern. It was such a treat seeing it all come together to make this snazzy hat.

Our first hangout was making these tiny fimo mushrooms in her kitchen (excuse the early IG filter 😬).

Over 10 years later, Molly opened her dream vintage store, Pretty Suss.

And I started making hats from vintage and pre-lover towels.

We’ve now combined our love for vintage, creativity, and our beautiful planet, to bring you a collection of handcrafted buckys, made by me, from vintage and pre-loved towels sourced by Molly.
