Here's the second new size 2 Mabel Coat that's just been added to the website.

This one was surprisingly difficult to photograph, as the camera kept wanting to show it as either a very bright red or even a hot pink. After a bit of editing, I think I've managed to get the colour fairly accurate. It's actually a lovely rich red — vibrant without being overly bright — and I think it's just gorgeous.

At this stage there's only one available in this colour combination, although I may be able to make a size 1 as well.

I think this is one of those coats that would suit either a boy or a girl, making it a wonderfully versatile option.

I'm excited to share that three new Mabel Coats are now finished and available on my website. Two are size 2, and one is size 4.

Tonight I'm featuring this gorgeous size 2 coat, made from a soft cream, blue, and pink check wool blanket and lined with a beautiful floral cotton on a light pink background. It is finished with wooden buttons and loops for a classic handmade touch.

Warm, practical, and full of character, this coat is perfect for a little one around 2–3 years old.

Sneak Peek Time!!

My sewing machine is finally back and running beautifully, which means new Mabel Coats are underway! 🧵

I've already finished a size 4 and a few size 2s (just waiting on the buttons/toggles), with size 1 and size 6 next on the cutting table.

I'll be adding them to the website as soon as they're ready, so keep an eye out if you've been waiting for the next release!

I’m so excited to be sewing again and can't wait to share these with you all.
