📣 Calling all Hunter Jumping Horses & Ponies! 🐎✨

We’re thrilled to announce that the AMAZING Bridget Hyslop, Master of the Hawke’s Bay Hunt, will be judging our Huntsman Class at this year’s show! 🎩🐴

Bridget will be putting combinations through their paces over the Baystock HB Wire jump, and she’s got a few extra tricks up her sleeve too! 😉

💡 A few things to note:

You don’t need to have ever hunted to enter this class – just be ready to take on the wire and complete some fun tasks from the judge.

If you’re part of a Hunt Club, please bring your hunting coat along to change into for the class.

Two beautiful trophies are up for grabs – one for ponies, one for horses.

This class is all about celebrating the spirit of hunting – who knows, you might even catch the bug! 🦊🌾

Save the date! We have Arena Eventing on the way 🥳

Arena eventing is a mixture of show jumps and cross country jumps over a longish track. No dressage test required! Water jump will be included.

More details to come. Held at Pukemarama with kind permission from the generous McKelvie family allowing us to bring you even more events to the Central Districts!

Please note - if entries are large, they will be split over two evenings.
