Throwback to last year, when i stepped into this not knowing if my idea and voice would make a difference in the world. After a lot of hours, blood, sweat, tears, markets and events we were able to be recognised over so many different cities across NZ & AUS. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it’s a hard hitting reality of the current inflation. A lot went into this behind the scenes and I would love to say thank you to all the family and friends that supported me thought out the journey. I’ve learnt so many valuable lessons and lessons I will stay clear from, I can’t wait till I get into a space where I can re-open but right now it’s not a final goodbye, it’s a see you later. This isn’t me bailing on you all, this is me Being vulnerable, mental health isn’t linear and it can be a long process so I’m taking a step back to help me. From what I always preach is to talk to people you love, reach out if you are struggling, know that you are worthy to be in this world! The world is better with you in it and it will always be 🫶🏻

As we all know life isn’t always easy and we have days. But always remember those days has an end and you don’t…
Over the past year I’ve spent hard hours and blood sweat and tears into this to build a community, a community of hope and guidance! Which will always be that way but for now we have to close our website and shop down.
I’m going to take some time off to work on myself as that’s what mental health is. I know this may be a shook to you all but this isn’t a forever goodbye this is a step forward so then hopefully in the future I can do what I’ve always wanted to do.

CALLING ALL MANAWATU REGION!

Over the past month there has been an increase in youths/Young adults in the manawatu community trying to take their own lives. 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health and at “IM OK” we believe it’s not talked about enough in school’s, community’s and homes. With a lot of people not knowing how to reach out or even look for help. I talked to a friend Shane at Youthline Central North Island then said that enough was enough and what can we do together to make a wider difference.
This leads me to why we are starting a raffle. All funds raised from this raffle will go towards myself and the Youthline team to go around schools talking about Mental Health and share story’s of hope, where they can go for help and some strategies that can help.

Raffle tickets are $5 each
