The Kimura has been one of my strongest submissions since I was 15yrs old. One of the details I learned back then from Master , that has stuck with me my whole life, is to grab their hand instead of the wrist. This greatly increases your leverage & ability to break their grip. Many people assume you have to be bigger/stronger than your opponent in order to be successful with the Kimura, but I was using it against adults when I was just teenager. The hand control was one of the 🔑 details to make that possible. Here you can see a perfect example of holding the hand in my finish at the historic 1 back in 2012.
