Another coat New Zealand Fashion Week Presented by Giltrap Group with Pacific Fusion Fashion Show®️ Peni Taehia

The collection is inspired by my mom and the Manulua pattern, a traditional Polynesian geometric motif meaning “two birds,” from manu, meaning bird or animal, and lua, meaning two. Found in Pacific art, it represents unity, harmony, and the meaningful joining of two families, lineages, or groups, becoming one through connection and togetherness. This reflects how I see my mom: a symbol of love, strength, connection, and family
