EVERYONE’S TARINGA ⭐️ EP.30

This week we’re handing the aux over to our girl Stormi 🫶🏼 for the second time! Because how good to keep the playlists rotating?!

Our Aotearoa music industry queen, our forever lil sis, and a big part of our Everyone’s whānau ❤️‍🔥

Stormi’s currently navigating that work/life balance, but with some siiiick festivals and concerts coming up, there’s plenty to be excited about! And honestly, her playlist this week is the perfect soundtrack for it all.

At the moment, you’ll most likely find her listening to her music in the car 💘 there’s something about driving with the music cranked that just makes the time fly by. Plus, it means you can chuck on a whole album and let it play from start to finish. The best.

And this playlist?? It’s good, the perfect step into Spring, I’m turning it up LOUD today.

EVERYONE’S TARINGA ⭐️ EP.29

This week on the aux we have Aysh! 🫶🏼

If you know Aysh, you know that she is a creative wizzzzz ⭐️ we are actually very lucky to have her pottery throughout the store 🏺

She says she doesn’t get up to much, but there’s clay, various other crafts, baking & always trying to learn more and make everything perfect with her special touch!

As for the music, she says she listens in noise cancelling headphones while she creates or goes on a long moody walk aka “don’t talk to me LOLOLOL” 😂

So this week’s Taringa is for the girly pops 💅🏼🎧 A mix of some classics and maybe something you’ve never heard. We love hearing your mixes that are authentically YOU!

This one is a bit special.

This week we’re passing the aux to the one and only, Mokomokai!

If you know me, you know Mokomokai will be playing loud from the shop speakers! They’re the definition of the smoothest Aotearoa hip hop, and their lyrics are witty, and just so so on. I am chuffed to have the boys on the aux this week. And I know you’re all gonna enjoy this one.

They’ve put together the perfect mix - soulful, warm, and a little bit sexy. Put the jug on for this one.

When I ask their favourite way to listen? 1 blunt at 2am.

They’re also gearing up to drop a new project with Troy Kingi, so go pre-save that one on Spotify now, and while you’re there, go support the boys and play all of their music. Supporting Aotearoa music is the best!

So chuck this one on loud, pour you a cup of tea, and let Mokomokai take over the aux for a while.
