Quebec designer, Dominique Lecourtois graduated from Montreal Fashion school in 1998. Working as a pattern cutter and head designer Dominique gained valuable experience and an appreciation for" slow style" fashion. Influence from a past "metropolitan" life, now meets "laid b

ack beach love" in Dom's creations. Each of them hand made with a passionate attention to details. Dominique's studio in Raglan offers since 2015, custom order designs, bespoke wedding gown creations and alteration services.

All things have to end, this is a new chapter for me where I will be operating from home and focussing on designer work; pattern making, sampling and small runs. I am choosing to work less ( enough 7 days week) and have a healthier balance. Closing my shop front was not an easy decision but I’m happy now that transition is done. I thank all my clients that I had the honour to serve over the years. You are all dear to me. I’m not sure exactly how things will look like, I’m taking time to rest and will re-emerge shortly.

Bespoke jacket to match a little black dress. Had to hunt so long for the right fabric! Found in UK, this cotton sateen has just the right tones of camel and beige. Happy client, happy dressmaker 😊

Collaborations are amazing here is my pattern used in her silk, final product to come once she hand dies it with all natural dyes; flowers, leaves … can’t wait to see. Top is reversible and so elegant 💖
