It's been a very busy couple of weeks, but I'm very happy to announce we have moved the Robertson Canvas workshop into central Rangiora, 235 Northbrook Road to be exact 😁 hopefully this will make the workshop far more central for everyone to get to, and as all ways I will be offering the same top quality service so come in with any repairs or ideas and we'll get cracking 😉

Winter is well and truly here, with snow just around the corner I'm offering some speedy turnaround times on horse cover repairs to get them in and out on the same day. Ripped or broken horse covers? We have the workshop all set up and are able to fix all equestrian gear, I've also got a boot sewing machine capable of repairing or replacing zips in tall boots,
The leather bench is up and running with the ability to punch holes through to almost any saddle repairs that need doing

Well what a weekend! Sky has had a couple of runs since our last update both at intermediate (CNC2*) our latest run at Aston Le Walls went very well with sky jumping a superb double clear and putting her best foot forward in the dressage, at this stage in the game I have been giving her some nice slow XC rounds resulting in a few time faults but hopefully towards the end of the season I will start to really get her cranking and we can have a bit more fun! This photo is the B element going into the second water 😄

Well well well, look who's finally updating his page. I must admit I have had a little encouragement from mum and dad but alas it is finally happening!! It's been a great first six months of my stay here at Paget Eventing. Sky travelled over in incredible form and hit the ground running, but as our English horses were getting their summer coats Sky was building up for her winter, showing that her body clock was still a bit out of whack! But after all this time she is finally getting back into sync and really starting to perform, she has been out to a couple of novice (CNC1*) runs and went really well. Unfortunately I don't have any real photos as I'm still working on my texting while riding skills and everybody else is rather busy, but the great news is that she is having her first intermediate run in a couple of weeks and mum and dad are heading along so I'm bound to get some nice footage from that! In the mean time here's a video of Sky doing some schooling at home on a beautiful English summers day!

Well after a whopping 35 hours!! Touching down in 4 different countries we finally made it to jocks yard, sky traveled amazingly well and was still full of energy even after her ordeal which is a great sign for all, she has had a couple of rest days and was as happy as ever to be eating and sleeping ( even in the snow ) she had her first workout today and felt fantastic which all things being equal is pretty astonishing, we are now looking forward to cracking on with the mission ahead and I'm mentally preparing for some big days in the yard we currently have 19 horses in work and all boxed so there is absolutely no down time around here!!
