Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful dads out there
This is my Dad and he is the reason we have such a great business today.
Some fun facts about Dad
I never call him Dad he's Pointy or Glynn. Why because he never answered to Dad so from about 7 onwards it's been those 2 names 😁
He had one of the first import licenses for bringing in women's clothing back in the 60's. Imagine that !!!!
He drove every Sunday to Auckland to pick up new stock for the stores. He could wallpaper a room with all the speeding tickets!!!!
He had over 20 thousand customers on the mailing order list no small feat back in the day.
Ingrained work ethic into us by introducing the stapler and glue bottle to us at 5 years old sticking down all the wool samples on card for mail order customers. Remember 20 thousand of them 🤭🤭
Every family holiday went with I'm just whipping into this shopping centre to check out the latest fashions. 5 hours later 🤔🤔
He still goes to work at 85
