john 3:16 says it clearly: for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have eternal life. that's it. that's the whole reason. love, given first.

if you've ever wondered whether you're worth loving, whether you've done too much or too little to deserve it, let this be your reminder today. before you did anything at all, He loved you enough to give everything.
