🌿🕊️ A little piece of Aotearoa right here in our garden… 🕊️🌿
There’s something incredibly special about sitting quietly in the garden and watching nature unfold right in front of you.
Lately, we’ve had a beautiful kererū visiting us regularly, and I have to admit… I get a little excited every time I spot him. 💚
He spends time amongst our native trees, enjoying the abundance they provide, before making his way down for a drink from the pond. 🌿💧
Watching him swoop in, settle amongst the branches and enjoy our little garden sanctuary is such a beautiful reminder of why I love surrounding myself with native plants and creating spaces where our manu can thrive.
We might think of it as just a garden, but to our feathered visitors, it can be food, shelter, water and a safe little place to pause. 🌱🕊️
And perhaps that’s one of the loveliest things about gardening — creating something that brings joy not only to us, but to the creatures who share this beautiful whenua with us. 🇳🇿💚
Feeling very grateful for these quiet little moments… and for our gorgeous kererū visitor. ✨
Sometimes the most beautiful things in life simply arrive in your garden. 🌿
