About Us
I exclusively use modern cloth nappies on my newborn daughter and 20 month old son day and night. I struggled to find a nappy that worked both in the early days and for a very active toddler. He has skinny thighs and has a condition that often involves messy moments, so we needed something that created a great seal (no matter how much he moved).
We found that double leg gusset nappies were essential, but they were hard to come by and we couldn't find any in adorable prints! Hence our premium pocket nappy came about, and we get it custom made for us. It is perfect for new babies and skinny toddlers (still great on chunky thighs too), and is fantastic at containing explosive movements!
The double leg gusset also means the pocket can contain a bulkier insert without pulling the elastic away from the legs, making it great for boosting for heavy wetters and overnight. The charcoal inner helps to keep baby feeling dry. We love bamboo inserts for our heavy-wetter as they are super-absorbent and remain soft wash after wash.
I also use reusable nappies to do my bit for the environment. I remember when my son went through 30 (YES 30!) disposable nappies in one day, and I cringed at the hole size I had just created in the landfill! A hole that will never break down. I thought of all of the energy and resources that went into something that lasted 30 seconds (literally). These are the reasons why reusables and specifically this nappy is perfect for us, and we wanted to share that with you!
