I haven’t really known how to say goodbye, even though I closed last week… then I found this pic.
This family used Vinty for all of their babies… now all grown up, I have this catalogue of their gorgeous children using Vinty products. I would never have thought all those years ago, that this would be my goodbye photo. Thanks for all the amazing photos over the years.
In the last few weeks have received the most beautiful messages from people thanking me for my products…. But actually I need to thank you.
Without the support of each purchase, every chat you’ve had with another parent about Vinty, each visit you made to the markets, the shares, the tags, the messages of encouragement, I wouldn’t have been able to do Vinty for nearly 12 years.

And for me I am back educating children in creativity and expression and spending time with children, who inspired this business… and now for some reason, at 9 and 12, don’t want to wear bibs anymore …

Today is the day I am finally letting go.
As of mid January 2026, the Vinty website will close. There will be a couple of exclusive stockists that will remain options for purchasing bibs, but other than them, Vinty won’t exist as a product you can buy from me online or at markets.
I’m not going to lie, it’s been tough the last couple of years. Sales have dropped, social media has made advertising a nightmare and the way we buy has changed so much. This year I took a job working within a school to help financially, but also to see what working in a school would be like again. And I loved it.
I’ve finally realised that the amount of work it takes to run a business in your own, with all the hats you must wear and all the constant upskilling you have to do with advertising through social media… I just don’t have it in me anymore.
I have been offered a new job at one of my daughters’ school and am excited to take on a new challenge.
I have the best supporters, I always have. The loyalty and love I’ve been shown just warms my heart, it has kept me going at the worst of times… but unfortunately it is time to say goodbye.
I won’t be ordering more supplies so what I have is what I have and when it sells out that will be it and just a heads up, I don’t have a lot.
Thank you so much for all your years of support. I will keep you updated on closure dates and stock levels.

I’m still here!
These are some gorgeous linens I sent off this week. Such a cute set.
I have been balancing Vinty and a part time job at a gorgeous school for the last 3 terms. My work at the school has been focussed on creating pieces with children to bring some brightness to spaces and also some painting for a lovely production the year 3s did.
The balance of 2 jobs has meant I have gone a bit quiet with you, but I am still here! Breast pad prints have been changed, as have Wavy One bibs. There are a couple of new floral dribble bibs that make summer feel like it’s on its way.
I’d love you to go and check them out.

A new start begins next Tuesday.
From next week, for the rest of the year, I will be joining the staff at a local primary school as their mural artist/ visual arts educator. It really is such a dream job for me and I’m super excited.
I will be working there 3 days a week to start with, which will leave me 2 days to work on Vinty; Monday and Friday. I now will only be dispatching orders on those 2 days and limited in my making time. If you needed anything urgently, you are best to message me, otherwise, patience will be appreciated.
Thanks for your support, I see it and I feel it, but as business life has changed, our family can’t continue to exist on Vinty alone anymore.
As I watch many businesses close on a weekly basis, it’s a true sign of the time.
