Our Chilly Beans are made from upcycled fleece materials. Our labels are cotton.
Blankets, discarded fleece materials sent to thrift stores, or donated to us, we collect those, we wash them, cut out our uniquely designed templates, and sew them here in NZ.
Every beanie purchased, we grow a plant (tree/shrub/native) from seed, and we donate it to a cause or community to give back to Mother Gaia/Papatuanuku/Pachamama. This includes beanies purchased from retail stores like .
Reducing waste to landfill, repurposing 'waste' into something fun and useful, and doing cool s**t is what we are founded on.
If you support our small business, do so with the knowing of our story. You basically will have a plant or tree growing from your purchases, and that's pretty cool.
