The weather was kind if a little bit too hot and we had a hectic first two hours with lots of our loyal return customers! However following that it died right off! So we had a good market and we value all our followers and customers but would have liked to sell a few more! Our granddaughter Alexis on the money machine and the "office". We were all knackered by the time we took this photo! We pride ourselves on not only having a quality product to share but also that we are a family owned and operated business as were the original Aussie owners!

Chasing new roads and family history! With the sister in law Yvonne we drive the new Te Ahu a Turanga. A wonderful new highway. As a family business representing an Australian family business we were reminded of family importance. We visited Dannevirke where my great grandfather arrived from Norway. His name appears on the plaque (Berndt Amundsen). My grandfather was the first boy to be born in Dannevirke to his Norwegian parents. Then we visited the family owned fruit and veg business Shires. The owner was clearly proud of the business and the heritage. He even offered a tour of the premises and a history! Dannevirke also has NZ’s oldest regional cinema still going!
