We couldn’t help but notice SKIMS The Wedding Shop product offering as all things related to SKIMS flashed across social (& other media) today with the headline “Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS to launch at new Auckland department store Faradays”. ~ NZ Herald, 27 May 26

In case you haven’t heard of SKIMS, it’s Kim K’s global shapewear brand reportedly worth over US$5 billion, and was established in 2019 between Kim K and current CEO Jens Grede. The NZ Herald goes on to say “SKIMS offers a selection of technically constructed underwear, shapewear, loungewear and swimwear, and has grown to become one of the largest brands of its kind globally”. Faradays creative director & co-founder Constance von Dadelszen goes further to describe the brand as “one of the most culturally relevant brands in the world right now” ~ NZ Herald. We think its high praise for a brand with an increasing global presence and following, & it’s great to welcome them to our shores later this year.
