New Year, New Us!
Today we're sharing some news, that this year will be a new direction for Kauri & Sons with Tori stepping back from the day-to-day operations of the brand following a merger with Little Yellow Bird.
Sam (Founder of Little Yellow Bird) and Tori have known and worked together for a number of years with Little Yellow Bird supporting the manufacture of last year's collection. Tori will be staying on in a creative capacity, so expect to see some more gorgeous designs out soon and photography from her later this year.
Little Yellow Bird is focused on transparent and ethical manufacturing and is excited to extend some of its sustainability initiatives into the Kauri & Sons brand, especially end-of-life textile recycling.
Tori says that designing and creating ethically made, sustainable baby products has been such a pleasure. “I’ve learnt so much from the process and building this community over the last 3 years. Like any small business, the last couple of years have been a huge challenge. With three small children, I’ve decided to spend this next phase focusing on my family and creative passions and am so excited to continue to see how Kauri & Sons evolves in this next phase of its journey.”
