I had the pleasure of hosting a young fashion enthusiast today on work experience.
There’s not many places like us, where you can flex fashion / styling creativity with such a huge collection at your fingertips.

One of my customers daughter found herself in a dire situation, which left her with the clothes on her back and a baby bag .
She was overwhelmed with the help from various support groups that wrap around caring made all the difference.

It’s not until you’re in this situation you can comprehend how hard it would be.
I was so moved by her story so when
Sara, from Auckland Pregnancy Help contacted me I had direct reference to the amazing work the charity does to support women at what might be their most vulnerable, including their baby.

So let’s pull together and put a bundle of love together for these mums.

Putting this collection together has been a big like organising a wedding, all those unexpected things that crop up that cause you to pivot.
The back green dress sold immediately along with my original wedding dress for this look.

The front velvet dress is a 70’s dream it has that perfect bohemian vibe it was all ready to go photos looked beautiful, when we noticed an issue with the hem.
I’m not at the shop today so it will have to wait untill Tuesday for me to access the situation.

So I’m quickly working on another dress to take its place so far so good 🤷‍♀️😊😊

FYI the dress is by Estelle Rose 1970’s size small 12

I put it down to me leaving love and adoration on the divine 70’s wedding dress, after washing and pressing it yesterday she was calling out to be cherished.

I’ve managed to cover two concepts of etiquette in this reel particularly the dress code for weddings.

We’ve become so casual it can be really confronting the concept of dressing up for a wedding or function.

There’s so much unspoken intention in showing up or putting in some effort for friends or family.

We are always happy to help, sometimes it’s all in the accessories or getting your hair done, polishing your shoes and bag can make a huge difference.
