Caring for your wool is the key to making it last..
Here are some tips to help your wool go further.
1. Hang your dry garments after use. Due to woolโs natural ability to break down odour, you can wear wool garments multiple times before needing to wash them.
2. When it comes time to wash your wool, use a gentle wool detergent and a gentle cycle. Spinning your wool pieces in the machine is essential as it can remove excess water, but a gentle cycle is always best.
3. Tumble Drying... Tumble drying was the enemy of wool for many years and for some garments this is still the case. Always read your care label as some of our base layers can in fact be tumble tried, whereas our Norwegian Knitted Sweaters are best left to dry flat.
4. Let your wool rest. Let wool rest in fresh air, and try to avoid wearing the same pieces every single day. This gives wool's natural properties time to work and restore it to its natural shape.โ
5. Know what the care instruction symbols mean, each of our garments have unique properties and some require more attention than others.
Wear. Air. Wash. Rest.
