I'm not super keen on this event as it ultimately promotes overconsumption, although I fully understand chasing a bargain!
(I'll defo be buying a few items, just will carefully consider each purchase as I always do 🌿)

But given my values, I won't be running a sale this weekend...instead, I'll be sharing some of my favourite local businesses that I would love to see you all support 💝

Order or disorder?

My life is pretty chaotic at the best of times (day job, mum life, business, hobbies etc!) but I definitely value order more 🧘🏽‍♀️

Whilst enjoying a lazy weekend with my family, I just wanted to say a big thank you to each of you for being here and supporting this wee business of mine 😍

You lot are the best - I literally couldn't do any of this without you!!

I also want to thank the other brilliant small businesses that offered their reassurance and solidarity after my last story ramblings about why I haven't been super active on here recently 😅
The support that you can receive through other businesses on here is just beautiful ❤

Anyway, I'm going to get back to enjoying a weekend with my family - we're headed to Newtown festival today!

The SOFYA top - the ultimate easy layering top!

I wear this piece the same I do as my SOFYA dress;

🙌🏽 Over a sheer top when it's warmer weather
🙌🏽 Over a turtleneck/roll neck top when it's colder
🙌🏽 On it's own if it's really hot or on it's own under a cardigan/jacket

Hands up if you feel like you're just muddling through life 🙋🏽‍♀️

I do!!

In so many aspects of my life I'm just muddling through, like I expect (hope lol) most of us are, and hoping for the best - especially parenting! No one really tells you how it's going to be when your mini me arrives 😅👶🏽

But I've been feeling the worst about it in regards to this business - I have no formal training in fashion design or entrepreneurship (I literally learnt how to sew a year ago 🙈) so I'm figuring out as I go along!!
This means lots of trial and error but you know what...that's okay. Learning and improving should be what we strive for because it means we'll get better! That's freaking cool.
So, thank you for allowing me to stagger along this journey - and thanks for joining me 💝💝
