Having myself a lazy Sunday morning and I’ve just finished reading my current book (The Stillwater Girls - Minka Kent).

Looking for recommendations please!

Here are a few I have enjoyed this year (meaning I find myself muttering ‘just one more chapter’ and staying up too late!).

I like to mix it up between easy reads, thrillers, historic novels and crime series.

If there is a series, I would love to hear your thoughts… my top picks are:
The Both Die at the End series - Adam Silvera
The tea rose series - Jennifer Donnelly
The Thursday murder club - Richard Oswald

Durable - now that's a word I didn't expect to be using (or hearing) as often as I do. But when talk turns to Tings wet bags this is a term so many customers use.

For example: at the last market I did in February, Martinborough Fair - craft fair and market, I was making a concerted effort to note down comments from customers. I gave up writing durable after the 6th or 7th time

Then last weekend I bumped into a customer who said she was loving the new patterns and wanted to buy some. However, because they are so durable she's been holding off until she can justify it.

Anyhoo, I decided that is my word of day (week, month, year).

Have a good one and feel free to drop the word you would use to describe tings wet bags in the comments.

Have a good one.

Apologies for the radio silence… I’ve been buried under boxes and boxes of ‘stuff’. To say my husband was a collector is the understatement of the century!

20 boxes of books
4300+ comics
DnD books and associated things dating back to the 80s
Boxes of PC games
Many many many collector cards.

And on top of that, the builder has been creating huge holes in walls in the name of overdue maintenance.

If you need me, I’m the one rocking in the corner 🤣🤦‍♀️🤯

I have some sad news… the tings car has been retired. After 10 years of service, 8 years of displaying branding and rebranding, she has gone. I’ll still wave if I see you, you just won’t know it’s me 🤣

I was reminded that it was indeed May 4th by a friend so felt I should share this throw back pic from 2016 *Disclaimer: as a rule I’m not a Star Wars fanatic but did finally watch the original 3 movies in early 2000s and did enjoy them. However having grown up in the Star Wars era with Leah as a name scarred me (“hey, princess”). No amount of “it’s Leah not Leia” could stop the cringe fest.
