The answer is yes! We're often asked if we can replicate a client's favourite piece of clothing from home or something they've seen in a photo.

It can be a costly process however as replicating a design involves enlisting our Pattern Drafter to create a pattern that we can work with. We usually ask that you supply the fabric you want, so factor in this cost also. Here's how it works:

Consultation: We'll discuss your design and you can share details about the fabric, colour, embellishments, and any other specific features.

Measurements: We'll take your measurements to ensure that the custom garment fits you perfectly. This step is crucial to create a replica that matches your size and shape.

Fabric Selection: You'll need to choose the fabric for your custom dress. We may be able to recommend fabrics that work with your design.

Pattern Creation: Based on the design and measurements, our Pattern Drafter will create a pattern to serve as the blueprint for creating your outfit.

Construction: We'll sew your design according to the pattern and incorporate any details discussed during the consultation.

Fittings: We usually allow a couple of fittings so we can make any necessary adjustments to ensure the garment fits perfectly.

Finishing Touches: Once the dress is constructed and fits well, we'll add finishing touches, such as zippers, buttons, or embellishments.

Final Fitting and Delivery: After all adjustments and final touches are made, you'll have a final fitting to make sure it looks and fits properly. Then it's all yours!

Keep in mind that replicating a design is a collaborative process. It's important to be open about your preferences and take on suggestions to ensure the final result matches your expectations.
