domestic bliss textiles designs and hand screen prints an eclectic and colourful range of home linens: tea towels, pillowcases, tote bags and cooks' aprons; and fair trade organic cotton tee shirts. We print our designs on to 100% cotton sheeting and canvas, linen, and h**p fabrics, and this is what we use to make our rockin' goods: tote bags, pillowcases, tea towels and cooks' aprons. Our designs

are inspired by philosophy, politics, maps, typography, nature, Maori design and 1960s and 1970s retro cars (they are a particularly popular line). As well, we do our own take on classic motifs: spots, stripes, paisley, florals and the chevron. Our style heroes are William Morris and Modernism, favouring the Bauhaus, Andy Warhol and Barbara Kruger among others. Our motto, 'dulce et utile', meaning 'beautiful and practical', once referenced literature now guides us in creating household linens that are unique, beautifully designed, often thought-provoking and always useful.
