We are so happy to welcome back to the Slug line up ✨ 🐌

Laurence Sabrine is the designer behind the eponymous label based in Pōneke. Their work is rooted in the liminal spaces of their personal history as a q***r Filipino. These fragments of self are then carefully pieced together to tell a nuanced and intricate story; plaids in unusual colours, prints distorted, and fabrics thoughtfully mashed together.

We’re open 9:30am – 5:30pm, and loads of our incredible designers are offering in-store only discounts from 10–30% off. That means one-off finds, rare pieces, and special deals you won’t see again.

Still buzzing from our SLUG pop-up opening night on May 8th — finally sharing some snaps from the evening! Huge love to everyone who came through to celebrate with us — we reckon it was our biggest turnout yet (200+ beautiful humans!).

Big shout out to our beverage sponsors and for keeping us cool and quenched while we partied in true SLUG style. 💥💧

We are so delighted to have as our featured artist at SLUG 2025.

Henrietta Fisher is an artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau (originally from Pōneke), working primarily with video as well as other image, object and time-based media. Informed by material exploration as metaphor, and through engaging symbolic characters, from “angels” to fish, concerns of sensuality and surveillance, dissolution and devolution, communion and lowliness become pertinent. On this plane, a body can warp and devolve into pulsating balls of light, like a ta***ic egg or just a pixel doing the wrong thing.

Please welcome back the incredible FRAZIER by the talented ✨🩶☑️

Frazier was founded in Pōneke, Aotearoa, and now calls Naarm, Melbourne home. Currently on hiatus, the brand is still grounded in a philosophy of adaptability, community, and considered design.

Garments are made to be lived in - shared between friends, worn through shifting seasons, and shaped by the rhythms of everyday life. Each piece is an invitation: to move, to gather, to rest. Made to adapt without ever conforming, Frazier clothing holds space for change; quietly evolving with the people who wear it.

We are so happy to announce .clothes in the Slug line up ✨

Brooke Georgia is an artist working in clothing, drawing and installation sculpture. Her practice is one of gleaning materials that bring their own histories with them. Her relationship to these objects involves a cycle of deterioration, obliteration, salvage and renewal, repairing until the story buried in the found thing is remade.

Being. garments are made from natural textiles such as wool and silk, that have already been worn/out, and are treated with intuitive stitching, dyeing and reworking. Linings are exposed and holes mended with delicate threads cross-stitched together, knitted surfaces hewn together with heavy French seams. This attention to the materials gives them, and the wearer, a new way of being.
