From organza, delicate silks and luxurious satins, to beaded fabrics, lace and tulle, it’s time to choose the fabric for your dress. Of course, I’ll be on hand to make recommendations and I am very happy to work with fabrics you already own or want to source yourself. Making your wedding gown
The better your wedding dress fits, the better it will look. In some cases I will create designs in simple cotton first. Depending on its design I’ll make your gown in two or three stages – which may require a few more fittings. I will start by making sure the main features are right like the neckline, sleeves and hems, before adding the tiny details that will bring your dream dress to life. The finishing touch
I want you to get as much as possible from my Bespoke Service. The finishing touch is you, wearing the perfect dress. Once you’re completely happy with the finished piece, you can walk away with it that very day! How long does it take? I recommend allowing three months for a made-to-measure wedding dress. And I may need up to six for more complex and detailed pieces. ALTERATIONS

Please bring your dress along and we’ll talk together about what you’re looking for. It is necessary to bring shoes and the bridal underwear in most cases. I will offer suggestions, helping you decide on necessary alterations, embellishments and the perfect fit. Perfecting your dress
Where possible I advise that you book your first consultation with me three months before your wedding day, particularly during my busy period, which is July through to September and October. You need to feel completely happy with your dress, after any necessary changes, so I like to leave enough time for further fittings and final adjustments, just in case.
