Me & My Dad, the one man who made me feel the safest. The strongest man I ever knew, press ups on his knuckles, & index finger knuckles only, he was a don’t f #%* with me and my whānau. Protector 💯 IYKYK he was straight GANGSTA 🖤🖤🖤

I followed him everywhere, my love of old skool muscle cars, gangsta v8s, Harley’s. He had it all and passed that love of cars onto me n my bro.

I named my V8 Johno, I never got to have a son so that’s the next closest. Every time I see my Merc Blacked out like our Ponti 🖤🖤🖤 start it up, feels like my Dad is right there with me. That V8 feeling is something else. Taught me so many life lessons that I hold onto tight to this day.

We arrived down hm @ 1:40am & headed back to the airport 🛫 same time. It’s never long enough but I feel grateful we got our big girls home to have their last quiet moments while everyone was resting.

There is no feeling like being home but every single warm hug and love we received from all our famz filled our cups on one of the saddest days. Missing all my famz & sending so much aroha & healing xox

Our Parps didn’t tell us he loved us often in person but he was an action man, by showing up to everything that mattered. We knew and felt his endless love ❤️

My 2️⃣ co-owners loved their Kui & Koro. So many spoke of how tough & tuturū Parps was but like my Aunty said he treated women with the highest regard & we all got treated like queens. Esp these 2. Thought we were in the top 3 until the moko tuarua arrived. Parps was a Papa figure for my babies and he has been there since 6wks old. We moved into the big house & 6 wks later we moved into a house 5 letter boxes away. Nan would come everyday to sit with me & the girls. For a well to do lady she’d tell me sit down, no cleaning. She accepted me as I was and as a solo Mama trying raise twins best believe I didn’t look great, but Nanny loved anyway.

Parps after work knew Nan would be with us. Memories we will cherish forever. When we moved to Aus, Nan, Parps, Aunty, Lee & my bebes came to 🇦🇺 to visit us. The bond Parps had with our 2 sets of twins & our Toikz was second to none. They were all his heart.

Parps picked my girls up from the school bus stop waited 40mins to drive them two mins for yrs cos he didn’t want them to walk. Blessed every whare we lived in, taught the girls how to be pool sharks & turned them into squash champions from 5 at his infamous Cossie Club. Our Parps had the biggest heart and would always look after my babies when I was ✈️ all over for mahi. He would thank me in his daily txts for filling up his day when he was the greatest blessing for us.

I have stories for days and 10yrs of txts that I’ll cherish forever. Thank you for being my backbone loving our girls. Thank you teaching us how to swim against the current at our river so we could 💨 in whare wars 💛🖤 thank you for making us run and teaching us all how to play squash, thank you for the many dinners for yrs at the Cossie. Thank you for loving us unconditionally, we will keep your memory alive forever Parps, kiss Nanny for us and our uncles & my Dad I hope they had a 🎷waiting for you up there.
