Starting a brand from the ground up is incredibly fulfilling but also challenging. I still love what I do (even after 7 years) so that definitely helps keep the fire and passion burning.

MISS MAIA isn’t just about earrings anymore…

One of the newest additions to MISS MAIA are our sunnies - six colours in a variety of styles. Not your standard “safe,” but playful, standout shades that carry the same energy as our jewellery. And we’ve just added two new shapes/colours.

Interestingly, even though I leaned into colour & shape, the darker classic sunnies have been the favourites so far. Go figure! 😎 It’s always fascinating to see what people gravitate towards once designs are out in the world.

A little throwback to one of my all-time favourite MISS MAIA pieces - Te Punga, designed back in 2019.

I have a yellow glitter pair of these that I still treasure and wore just the other day. I love how elegant and fine the design is, a piece that feels both delicate and strong. What makes me smile is that even after 6 years, they still look beautiful when worn, carrying the same spark they had when first created.

Designs like this remind me why I love what I do....creating pieces that hold their magic and stand the test of time. That's my measure of success at MISS MAIA because it means you get so much value out of your investment in MISS MAIA pieces.
