No, dearest Facebook, I haven’t posted in a while. I meant to. Daily. Multiple times. But here’s what’s happened this week…
Some child cut my toothpaste tube. Just cut it. It was new. Toothpaste now shoots out both ends.
We had colds. We did the right thing and stayed home. It sucked. We escaped to the skate park for an hour. Caught a gastro bug.

It annihilated us. We went down like dominoes and stayed down. We’re still recovering.
I did however clean the bathroom today. It shone. I felt better about my entire life.
Then Mr. 4 and three quarters thank you very much ate too much at dinner on a still-sensitive stomach, jumped on his bed at bedtime and then promptly puked all over it.

I mean just…all over it.

So there’s that.

I also didn’t answer four texts and two emails, finish the three construction jobs and uncountable household jobs I have started.
I didn’t file taxes in two different countries for myself or my business. I didn’t make baby food or book the haircut I desperately need. I didn’t reschedule the birthday massage that got canceled (for the 4th time) because of the tummy bug or call any of the people I thought about in the course of the day.

I’ll probably get around to it tomorrow, but thanks for the reminder 😘

Tell us, dear readers, what did you mean to do today?

We’re excited to introduce Lemon! The day before our older kids head back to school and daycare under NZ's Alert Level 2.

We had Lemon printed on Pink and Royal Blue tees just before our babies were born and never got to...

[KIDS! OUT of the fridge!

But I’m huungryyyy!]

…where was I?

Lemon. It was inspired by illustrations that tell visual stories…

[Do not lick your brother. He just said no! What part of don’t lick him means lick him!?]

…so. Lemon. We love the whimsy and fantasy of…

[No, I don’t know where your thing is. It’s probably wherever you left it.]

Ugh.

…now I’m hungry.

What was I saying?

Sending love and strength from our bubbles to yours.

Check out Lemon! On our website soon.
Thank you for your support of local business.

Kia kaha NZ, especially you Auckland. Thanks for fighting the good fight.

Oh hey, remember us?!

You may (or may not) have noticed we’ve been quite quiet for a... wee while...
[cough]...
Seven months...
[cough ]...

But the truth is our creative energy was temporarily redirected to the two new humans we welcomed within 24 hours of each other back at the end of January.

Our 3 - 4 months of maternity leave has dragged on a while longer because… as you know, babies take a LOT of time and energy.

But we both seriously love that Slug Life and have been itching to get back to it.

So, here we are!!
Stay tuned for some new things we’ve been incubating that aren’t small humans!

It’s good to be back.
