Meet some of the local people behind the products that we are bringing home! One of these mamitas has been selling her products at the San Pedro Market in Cusco for over 35 years. She is a very authentic and true señora - her prices are realistic even for foreigners, and there is almost no space for a bargain. We choose to support artists that are giving us the prices that they deserve - we like to give them that with great respect!

Our Third Project ~ Essential Oils from native plants growing in the Peruvian Andes! Supporting the amazing .kausay.punku who has built a distillery and eco-houses made out of recycled materials as well. He has a huge garden of native plants, and he has also planted other useful species to create beautiful aromatherapy and natural cosmetic products. We are bringing home some of these products, including the following essential oils:

Arrayán ~ aromatic, skin-smoothing, and energy-cleansing qualities

Muña ~ Andean mint with digestive-comfort and head-clearing qualities

Eucalyptus ~ supports easier breathing, is good for massages, and helps cleanse the environment

Molle ~ supports muscles, joints, and bones

Cedroncillo ~ relaxes the mind and spirit and helps settle the stomach

Rosemary ~ warming massages, focusing and cleansing properties, and food seasoning.

Our Second Project ~ Q’ero Communities in the Peruvian Andes

We are bringing high-quality alpaca and llama products from women living in the high Andes of the Sacred Valley. We visited their community and witnessed the incredibly complex process of weaving the textiles we are bringing home — from creating the weaving yarn, coloring it with leaves, roots, bugs, and flowers, to the advanced techniques of weaving and shaping patterns.

We appreciate this work so much more now that we have experienced it ourselves. When we organize trips to Perú, we bring people to this community so they can also witness the beauty and sophistication of this process.

Some beautiful traditional Shipibo Icaro designs for Men 🖤 The clothes are handcrafted and the designs born from the visions of the Medicine Men and Women. Icaros are traditionally lovingly sewn by the Healers' wife at home, who often brings to life the very symbols he sees in ceremony. These patterns are also made into songs. We bring these treasures to You!
