From Matching Outfits to My First Customer: A Special Journey💕

Throwback to where it all began! The first photo is of my dear cousin sister and her daughter wearing one of my earliest creations. Back then, I was just sewing for myself and my baby girl. We loved matching in all our outfits—off-shoulder blouses, meri blouses—you name it. I didn’t have the confidence to sew and sell to others, so I kept my creativity just for us.

I wanted to enjoy the beauty of my own handiwork after years of buying blouses from other talented ladies. But things changed when my cousin sister saw a post of me and my daughter rocking our matching outfits. She reached out and asked me to sew something similar for her and her daughter. I didn’t want to charge her—it was a gift from the heart—but she insisted on paying and told me to name my price. I told her to pay whatever amount she wanted.

Not only did she pay, but she paid extra and encouraged me to start sewing and selling my meri blouses. She became my very first hoodie kolos customer, and her belief in me gave me the push I needed to turn this passion into a small business.

Fast forward to today, I am so grateful for her support. The second photo shows her and her daughter in their latest matching outfits. It’s moments like these that remind me how far I’ve come.
