Sometimes we forget…

We expect them to understand like adults.
To behave like adults.
To control their emotions like adults.

But they’re not.

They’re still learning how the world works.
Still figuring out their feelings.
Still discovering who they are—through mistakes, mess, and curiosity.

That “mess” you see?
That’s learning.

Those endless questions?
That’s curiosity growing.

Those imperfect moments?
That’s childhood.

They don’t need to be perfect.
They don’t need to be quiet all the time.
They don’t need to “act older” just to make things easier for us.

They need space to explore.
They need patience when they don’t get it right.
They need understanding when their emotions overflow.

Because one day, the mess will be gone.
The toys will be packed away.
The questions will get fewer.

And you might miss the chaos you once tried to control.

So let them be little.
Let them be loud, messy, curious, and imperfect.

That’s not bad behavior—
that’s childhood, exactly as it should be. 🤍
