Maila Alog is an Ibaloy creative force whose work bridges art, Indigenous heritage, and community empowerment. Through her brand M.A. Woven Designs and Habing Katutubo Collective, she elevates Filipino textiles on local and international stages, from Miss Philippines Earth 2025 and Catwalk Philippines 2025 to showcases in Germany, Belgium, and Malaysia. Her creations transform Indigenous fabrics into contemporary masterpieces, highlighting culture, empowering weavers, and telling powerful stories through fashion.
A licensed criminologist and police officer with dual degrees and a Master of Development Administration, Maila is currently pursuing a PhD in Indigenous Studies focused on peacebuilding and Indigenous representation. Grounded in her heritage, she continues to champion the fusion of tradition, innovation, and artistry in every design.
