Today is International Women's Day! We'd like you to meet the women behind Anyag. and are partners who started this small business with the support of other incredible people around them.
Princess Romo was the Student Regent of Visayas State University during the A.Y. 2022-2023. But even before that, she was already a student leader from the College of Arts and Sciences, helping the student body take their place in the institution. Unbeknownst to many, she had been working and serving behind the scenes for a long time. One of her many contributions was serving as the Project Coordinator of Paglaum, a relief operation extended by the VSU SSCF during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette, which provided aid to Viscan students residing in Southern Leyte and other affected areas. She was also the head of Project Panaghiusa, which was a donation drive and relief operation by various SSCs and orgs in and out of VSU for the victims of Typhoon Agaton. During her term as Regent, she represented the students in various aspects, especially through the newly approved SA allowance which was drafted and proposed during her term. Now, she's manning most of Anyag's operations.
Lanie Matuguina was a former student officer of the USSC Baybay and the College of Arts and Sciences. She is best known for her graphic designing skills and remarkable talent in digital arts. One of her notable works would be the Soaring Phoenix shirt back during the 2022 Intramurals. She also designed certain projects for other organizations and SSCs, and still continues to do so. Furthermore, she was active in assisting various projects implemented by orgs and SSCs. She's the one who turns Anyag's creativity and imagination into reality.
Together these women make an amazing team. Both's expertise in designing and their passion to create and revolutionize are the foundations of Anyag. We are excited to share the things that they have in store for all of you.
They dare to dream, and they aren't scared of achieving. So should you. ✨
