Kabataan Partylist Rep. Raoul Manuel criticizes Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte's "no comment" response regarding Malacañang's directive to integrate the recital of the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn and Pledge into weekly flag ceremonies.

"Bakit 'no comment' eh ipapa-recite sa DepEd employees at sa mga bata sa eskwelahan ang Bagong Brainwashing Modus na iyan? The least she can do is give a comment," Manuel posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, June 12.

Manuel further argued that Duterte's silence reflects an inability to fulfill her basic responsibilities as the Secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd).
