I find myself in a bittersweet moment as I prepare to part with this exquisite Kalinga batuk jar from the north. Its intricate details, hand-poked by artisans whose legacy may sadly be lost to time, are truly mesmerizing. I’ve always wanted to own such a treasure, one that brings to mind my delightful conversations with the late Direk Floy Quintos.
