Long post ahead.
Vintage Rap tees are in-demand up to this date, a design made by creators during the 90's to express and share their love to a person/team/band with the use of garments and ink, especially in both Rap and Basketball scene, even pop music singers. I've been wanting to produce this design for almost a year now and I am so happy that I made it.
I started designing bootleg rap tees April of the last year, when the pandemic is still called "N-COV", in where all people are in hard lockdown. The passion and creativity back then was so draining to the point that I see no reason to sell clothes or design what I like because it is not considered an essential thing, I wasn't passionate as much as I am in the past. Thrift stores are closed and selling my vintage grails is a must to help and contribute with the expenses from our home.
At the same year, Kobe Bryant died. He was idolized and by many, add in the factor that our country (The Philippines) is a basketball centric nation. If you know me during my high school days, I used to play basketball with Kobe 6's that eventually got sole seperation and overtime, got damaged. I may not play basketball anymore but seeing Kobe Bryant on and off the court makes me fortunate. A Once in a lifetime player that inspired a lot of people both in basketball and in life, that helped the poor countless of times as well.
Inspired by a 90's Bootleg Chicago Bulls Rap Tee, here is my own take of a Bootleg Kobe Bryant Rap Tee.
