Inspired by the radiant stained glass windows of the ancient Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Augustine, this evening gown captures the beauty of light, faith, and hope. As every ray of sunlight transforms the vibrant glass into a masterpiece of color, this creation reflects the enduring spirit of Cagayan de Oro—a city that continues to rise, flourish, and inspire.
Gracefully woven throughout the design are blooming gumamela flowers, celebrated for their vibrant beauty and remarkable resilience. Flourishing under the warmth of the tropical sun, the gumamela symbolizes strength, renewal, and the unwavering spirit of every Kagay-anon. Like the city itself, it continues to bloom with grace despite every challenge, reflecting hope and the promise of brighter tomorrows.
Hand-embellished gemstones shimmer with every movement, paying tribute to the city’s legacy as the Gemstone of Northern Mindanao. Together, the stained glass, the blooming gumamela, and the brilliance of every crystal tell a story of transformation, faith, and hope.
More than an evening gown, this is a celebration of Cagayan de Oro—a city where history, culture, and resilience come together to bloom with timeless elegance and shine for generations to come.
