Services for printing using SUBLIMATION process for polyester fabric is also available. ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PRINTING:
- The primary advantage of this type of (digital) printing is its
non-contact nature - meaning the media is printed on without hand contact, allowing for a more precise imaging. This also prevents the image distortion, missed registration, or misprint that usually takes place in conventional silkscreen printing process.
- Most noticeable is the virtually no-hand feel print.
- Even with more than 5-6 colors, there is no “layering” feel on the print, unlike silkscreen printing.
- Best on photographic images as virtually unlimited colors can be printed, if used on white or light colored material.
- Prices are primarily quoted on the size of the image, rather than the number of colors, thus making it more economical as the number of colors increases.
- Small minimum quantity required, with not much change on the price of printing services.
- No need for silkscreen pattern, making the turnaround for sampling faster. And of course, no need to worry about any charges if changes are made on the images prior to final approval and bulk production.
- Each image can be printed in graduated ratio and proportion, in accordance to the size of the shirt or other media, if so required. LIMITATIONS:
- Preferably, it must be printed on white or light colored material only, for best quality output.
- Subject to some limitations in color depth (if same shade), and sharpness.
- Best printed on cotton or cotton blends i.e. cvc, rayon, cotton slubby, pique for DTG; and polyester, TC for sublimation process.
